Veteran wins Specialty

I was thrilled to hear from Renee Pili (PA) that CH Loteki Chance Of Wind won Best of Breed at the Greater Delaware Valley Papillon Club specialty on May 3rd, from the VETERAN BITCH CLASS! Way to go Nina, Bob & Renee! What a thrill! She looks fabulous! Nina won the Veteran Bitch class last year at the 2008 PCA National Specialty in Frederick, MD. I am very pleased for Bob & Renee. They have provided Nina with a fabulous home, I know how much they love her and what superb condition they keep her in.

Cheryl Geer (TN) had a fun weekend at agility trials, she wrote, "The high point of the weekend was Jackson's standard run this morning. He qualified earning his 7th MX leg and 14 MACH points. I was very proud of the little red guy! Our only other Q this weekend was yesterday -- Jackson qualified in Jumpers but was running slowly and just made course time. Anyway, a 7th MX leg and 14 more points for Jackson

On a sad note, April 29th, CH Loteki Royal Heir went over the rainbow bridge. Alex won the GDVPC Specialty in May 2001 under Cindy Crowder's guidance. Alex was a multiple group winner, as well as having produced 9 champions at this time with 3 more major pointed and one yet to make her debut.
